We are so pleased that you have entered "FLOWER POWER," the Highlands Historical Society's 14th annual Dazzling Dahlia Festival. The festival will be from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
You may install your vignette anytime on Friday, September 6, 2024, but you must have it completed and ready for judging by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7. Judges come around starting at 10:00 a.m., so you do not want to be incomplete when they come by.
Your signage is due by August 9. No story is needed. Show us your vision of FLOWER POWER!

Reminders
- You are required to use 50% dahlias and 50% non-invasive native plants.
- Some dahlias and flowers will be available for vignettes if needed. They will be at the Dahlia Depot, now in KHFP, from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6. Please try not to rely solely or at all on the donated dahlias, as we never know what or how many flowers we will get donated.
- You must pick up your sign, table, material list, and number at Dahlia Depot on September 6, 2024, from Noon to 4 pm. If you need your table earlier, please let us know.
- Please ensure you have a representative in the park during the Saturday night concert. Winners will be announced in both judge's and people's choice categories. The judge's Best of Show will be awarded $500. Download the Material Lists Here. Material lists will also be provided when you pick up your sign and table.
